2nd Annual Green City Challenge Race

   This is a special challenge to all my ‘Green’ readers out there. I am pleased to announce the 2^nd annual Green City Challenge race. This is an educational, fun event for all that will be held at Union Square Park on October 23, 2011. The purpose of this race is to bring awareness to green living. The hope is to show New Yorkers (and anyone else who wants to learn) how to live, work and eat green. It’s about bringing sustainability to the mainstream.

     Ten teams will race around lower Manhattan competing in ‘GREEN’ challenges at some incredible local businesses demonstrating their knowledge of how to live, work and eat GREEN. Are you ready to test your ‘GREEN’ knowledge, would you like to be part of this amazing event? If so then all you have to do is submit a video of your team and it will be posted on Facebook. The public will vote for their favorite teams. The voting period ends on September 12, 2011 so what are you waiting for?
