Political Pollution

What the heck is Political Pollution you ask – That is what I call all the ‘Vote For Me’ signs that litter the otherwise beautiful landscape in our town.  Do we really need 5 signs within just a few feet from one another telling us to vote for the same candidate over and over ? Oh and lets’ not forget all the post cards and flyers that have been jamming our mail boxes for weeks now. Is it really necessary to keep sending the same flyers (with beautifully staged and retouched images of the perfect candidate) over and over ? I think not! How many of you have based your decision on who to vote for from these advertising monstrosities. I believe in freedom of speech but I think it has gotten out of hand. Not to mention how slow the signs are in coming down after election day – What do you think?
