The Best Cup of Coffee

I had the best cup of coffee today. It wasn’t from Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts it was from my own kitchen. Meg salvaged an old coffee pot from her Uncle’s house and her Aunt Pauline showed her how to use it.I was very skeptical about drinking anything that came out of  it since the pot looked a bit dirty and it was ready for the recycle bin. Did I mention that I am very picky about what I eat and drink and that I’m a little germ crazy? The correct term for this Coffee Pot  is a ‘percolator’. I vaguely remember having a pot like this when I was little but, that was short-lived when the  automatic drip Coffee Pots came out and my Parents got  a ‘Mr.Coffee’. Today was a perfect day for a nice cup of Java – it was cold, damp and nasty. The best part was that I didn’t have to leave home to get one.
