Plastic Bags
September 24, 2012
What do you do with your old plastic sandwich bags? I hate to throw them out because they are generally still good after one use. I have tried to wash them with a little soap and water but it was messy and I wasn’t really sure I got them 100% clean. I refused to throw them out ( so I would use them to pick up my dog’s poop). That was until I came across a great new product called Washy Wonder. They are plastic sticks that allow the bags to stay open in your dish washer(allowing the inside to get clean). What a clever idea. If you would like a sample of this great eco saving product just let me know.

Great idea. I hate throwing out bags that are hardly even dirty. Is the plastic durable enough for the dishwasher though?
Even better, get a reusable sandwich bag at Beehive.

Yes Tara it sure is durable. It is a great little invention. I will have to pop over to the Beehive to check out the reusable sandwich bags. I love Beehive – I have purchased many items including my favorite artist Ritomic designs ( I am wearing her Dichroic earrings as we speak 🙂
Seems like the bag may melt in the dishwasher cycle. Probably not meant for those thin ones…Great idea…
Probably not cheap ones – but it works very well on Zip locks 🙂 I don’t think the cheap ones make it past one normal use anyway.
