Kim’s Cafe and Catering

 For me It’s all about buying local and keeping the Mt Kisco economy thriving. We can all sit back and talk about the empty store fronts but, I would rather put my energies into supporting the businesses that are currently open here in Kisco (maybe by supporting these merchants we can help some struggling businesses survive or help flourishing ones grow even larger).

My daughter’s Confirmation was last Month and I needed to have it catered. At first I looked at some of the local franchise places but frankly they were so expensive (and I needed to feed 75 adults and 25 kids). A friend suggested Kim’s Bagels. I politely said that I was looking for a little something more than Bagels. She immediately corrected me and told me that Kim does catering. I said that I didn’t know that and would give Kim a call.

Kim sat with me and suggested the whole menu. I didn’t have a clue as to what I wanted or needed. When all was said and done (I held my breath as she tallied the bill) I couldn’t believe the final cost. I asked her if she was sure that she added it up correctly (surely she must have made a mistake I thought). How could it be so inexpensive when all the other places I had gone to quoted me triple the price. Kim assured me that it was correct and I decided to place the order. When I got home I got a sinking feeling that maybe the quality was not going to be up to par – boy was I wrong the food was delicious and presented in an awesome way. Kim delivered and set up the whole thing. I can tell you there was not a morsel left on the buffet table. The food was fantastic! We had all sorts of wraps, salads, Wings, chocolate coved fruit (better than Edibles) and Cake.

Ok so the moral of the story is to have your next party catered by Kim Pelose. She offers so many wonderful, out of the box ideas and services that I will be featuring her in another Blog soon.
