A Nation of Immigrants/Columbus Day Celebration

“A Nationof Immigrants” Festival & Columbus Day Celebration will take place today
Sunday, October 9, 2011, from 11:00am to 6:00pm, in Mt. Kisco NY.A
collaboration between Neighbors Link, the Italian-American Club of Northern
Westchester, ArtsWestchester, and PACT (Police and Community Together), in
cooperation with the Town/ Village of Mount Kisco and with support from the
Westchester Community Foundation and Curtis Instruments.

 A Nation ofmmigrants Festival will take place behind
Town Hall. Admission is free and open to all. This Festival celebrates the
diverse cultures of Northern Westchester by showcasing a broad range of
traditions and folk arts (including music, dance, visual arts, food and crafts).
The event is designed to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the region.

The Festival’s lineup will include a variety
of ethnic music and dance performances. There will be a variety of hands-on
activities including an art contest that will award the best painting of an
image of Mount Kisco.Come on down and check it out.
