Bad Weather Ahead

Todays rush hour promises to be a tough one. There is a severe thunderstorm warning and a possible tornado watch in effect starting at 5:00pm this afternoon for most of the area. Some good news is that the Governor reports that over 3,000 Con-Ed workers will be back on the job in anticipation of  possible power outages. The local utility workers Union and  Con-Ed Management have temporarily put differences aside to get back to work in the interest of public safety.
